The drape is very nice, and I lov...I love your hat! The drape is very nice, and I love the colour you chose. I can't tell what colour it is, but it almost looks like an eggplant colour. What brand, type, and colour of yarn did you use? Radtastic job for your first hat! I've been crocheting for 7 years, and I quickly learned that for whatever reason my favourite way to crochet is in the round. So, once I realised that I love crocheting in the round, I went to town on making hats, socks, slippers, granny squares. I like making other things like Afghans too, but hats have a special place in my heart. I taught myself to crochet for the sole reason of making my own hats.. The other stuff like Afghans, and socks are just a bonus.. lol.
